Gordon A. Ackley

Gordon A. Ackley, of 317 North 2nd Street, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015, at his home. Gordon was born Aug. 11, 1958 in Bradford, PA and was a son of Clarence H. Ackley and Diane N. Bullock Waite. Gordon worked for Cline Builders in Bradford, PA. He liked to fish, hunt and watch movies. Gordon enjoyed drinking beer with his friends, but his true love was spending time with his grandchildren. Gordon is survived by his mother, Diane N. Waite of Hickory, NC; a daughter, Sabrina L. Ackley of Bradford, PA; two grandchildren, Chaz and Robert Ackley; three siblings, Guy Ackley of Olean, Marilyn Vaughn of Hickory, NC, and Carl Ackley of Hickory, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by, his father, Clarence H. Ackley. At Gordon's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral.
