Olean – Gloria J. Miller     "Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, & Great Grandmother"

            Gloria J. Miller, of 110 E. Forest St., passed away on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at her home, following an illness.

            Gloria was born on June 15, 1943 in Franklinville and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Swartz Swanson.  On September 27, 1969, in Springville, she married her husband of 48 years, Paul S. Miller, who survives.

            Gloria worked in Nursing for most of her life.  She also worked at the Rehab Center on W. Fall Rd., taking care of disabled children.  Gloria loved her work with them.  She retired in 1997.  Gloria was life-member of the Olean Veteran Auxiliary and the St. Stephen's Club in Olean.  She was also a member of the Olean American Legion Auxiliary.  Gloria loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

            Along with her loving husband, Gloria is survived by; 4 children, Tina M. Schlau of Delevan, Dianna Lynn (Tim Johnson) Marcellin of Portville, Jack W. (Kim) Jufer, Jr. of Lakeland, FL, and Tracy P. (Lori) Jufer of Lockport, 12 grandchildren;, 17 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Carol (Ed) Jedrosko of Olean, Sandy (Harold) Chase of Westons Mills, Diane (Donald) Howard of Michigan, and James Swanson of Olean; and many nieces and nephews.

            Gloria was predeceased by her parents; an infant daughter, Tammy Miller in 1972; and 5 siblings Melvin Swanson, Carl O. Swanson, Lynn Briskey, Jackie Tucker, and an infant sister JoAnn Swanson.

            Friends will be received on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery, Olean.
