Gail C. "Bud" Zenner formerly of Colonial Village Allegany and the Olean House, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 in the Buffalo VA Hospital following an illness.
Bud was born on July 22, 1943 in Corry, Pa. and was a son of Evan Joel and Martha Hale Zenner. On May 15, 1993 in the Christ United Methodist Church he married his wife Beverly J. Hall who pre-deceased him on November 13, 2005.
Bud was a 1961 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School. He served in the US Air Force from April 20, 1962 to Jan. 10, 1970. He worked at Tri-Co in Bradford before going to work at Dresser in Bradford from 1971-1987. He then became an independent distributor for Pepperidge Farms for 4 years until 1991. He worked for Fred Contract Clean for a number of years. Bud worked for New York State Developmental Aid for mentally handy cap from 1995 to 1998.
Bud was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Allegany American Legion Charles Harbel Post #892. Bud and his wife Bev where long time members of the Friendship Club in Olean where he played cards. He enjoyed bowling on the Dresser League, and gardening.
Bud is survived by a sister, Mae L. Brantly of Kane Pa.; and three sister-in-laws, Candyce C. Wittmeyer of Lawtons, NY., Deborah (Dennis) Mikolin of Orchard Park, and Sharon Catuzzo of Lackawanna.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at which time funeral and committal services will be held. The Rev. Dr. William A. Allan, Co-Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Allegany Cemetery.
