Elaine J. "Evy" Yeager of 504 King Street and 1737 Gargoyle Rd. passed away, Saturday April 27, 2013 at the Pines Nursing Home, following an illness. Elaine was born Oct. 1, 1952 in Olean and was the daughter of Lyle & Delores "Dolly" Fries Estes. She was formerly married to Rickie Yeager. Elaine was a 1970 graduate of Olean High School. She worked at Quality Markets for 34 years at both the Olean and Ellicottville stores. She retired from the Randolph Quality market when Tops took over about 2009. Elaine was a member of St. Mary's Church in Olean. She enjoyed bowling at Corral Lanes and the Bowlean and was a member of several area bowling leagues. Elaine was formerly a member of the Olean Moose Club. Elaine is survived by her mother, Delores Estes of Olean; one son, Joseph C. (Sara) Yeager of Olean; two brothers, Bruce Estes of Olean, and Raymond Estes of Newark, Delaware; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State St., Olean from 6 pm to 9 pm and again on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 9 am to 10 am at which time a Memorial Service will be held. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson will celebrate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 202 S. Union St., Olean, NY 14760 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Online condolences may be made by clicking on the button above.
