Edwin L. Beach

Edwin L. Beach of 6015 Fritz Rd., passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Bath VA, following an illness. Edwin was born Feb. 10, 1928 in Greece, NY and was a son of Robert Louis and Edna Mae Phelps Beach. On Oct. 22 1949, in Dansville he married his wife of 48 years, Lucille Folts, who predeceased him on Aug. 25, 1998. Edwin was a Proud Marine serving in the United States Marines Corp for two tours for 5 years from 1946 to 1951. Edwin was a self employed carpenter for 42 years. He liked his horses, dogs, fishing, and social networking. Edwin especially loved spending time with his children and his grandchildren. Edwin is survived by three sons, Michael D. (Lilo) Beach of Friendship, Robert E. (Onolee) Beach of Conesus, a special ganddaughter, Victoria Beach of Conesus, and Mark T. Beach of Conesus; one daughter, Jeanette M. Beach of Avon; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth W. Beach of Avon; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his loving wife, Edwin was predeceased by three brothers, twin brothers Jack and Jim Beach, and Richard Beach. There will be a Graveside Service held at the Bath National Cemetery on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
