Doris Ethel Wiedman

Doris Wiedman, formerly of 2207 Sheldon Drive, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 at the Absolut of Allegany, where she had been a long time resident. Doris and her twin sister Dorcas were born at the family home at 2207 Sheldon Drive, Allegany on May 11, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Bussler Wiedman. Doris was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Allegany. Doris is survived by her twin sister, Dorcas Wiedman of Allegany, a sister Mrs. Janice Voorhees of Rochester, and several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her father Walter Wiedman, her mother Ethel Bussler Wiedman, and a brother William C. Wiedman. At Doris's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean, New York 14760. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Absolut Care of Allegany Activities Group Department, Maple Ave. and Fifth St., Allegany, NY 14706.
