Denise A. Auman of 27 Prospect St., Cuba, formerly of 133 � South 5th Street, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, at home, following a short illness.
Denise was born Dec. 28, 1953 in Olean and was a daughter of Douglas & Hazel Thompson Belleisle. She was formerly married to Thomas Wayne Auman.
Denise was a 1972 graduate of Wilson High School. She worked at TOPS from 1994 to 2006 primarily in the Pharmacy department. In 2006, Denise went to work in the Olean General Hospital ER, as a Patient Liaison. She stopped working in 2012 due to her illness. Denise attended the St. Mary of the Angels Church. She was a member of the Olean Elks and a former member of the Hinsdale Legion, Eagles, and the Moose. Denise enjoyed many things including, reading, playing cards, bowling, darts, dancing, horseshoes, visiting, and being with her family & friends.
Denise is survived by four children, Kimberly Sue (Rob) Foreman of Huggins, MO, Jennifer L. Auman of Myrtle Beach, SC, Thomas G. (Briar) Auman of Cuba, and Kevin A. Auman of Olean; eight grandchildren, Rylee, Brianna, Brandon, Reagan, Christopher, Brooklyn, Destiny, Dreamalea; four siblings, Richard "Dick" (Sid) Boser of Olean, Ronald F. (Louise) Boser, Diane Belleisle of Florida, and David Belleisle of Olean; and many, many nieces & nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. David E. Tourville will officiate.
