Dean A. Sweet of Irons Road passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, following a brief illness.

Dean was born on June 22, 1953 and was the son of Harold Devere and Effie Mae Sprague Sweet.

Dean worked for several local farmers throughout his lifetime including Hank Kyser and Dean Scott Farms. He enjoyed going to the Maplehurst Auction for cows and he enjoyed cleaning barns, mowing, and going for walks.

Dean is survived by his friends, Christy Sherlock, Kimberly (Keith) Middaugh Sherlock and their family.

Dean was predeceased by his parents, a son Devere Sweet, and his sister, Bernice Lucella Elliott on August 17, 1999.
