Cuba – Darlene K. “Dolly” Blake “Loving Sister & Aunt”
Darlene K, “Dolly” Blake of 4233 Hamilton Hill Road Cuba passed away at Jones Memorial Hospital on Tuesday December 14th, 2021, following a lengthy illness.
Darlene was born on July 12th, 1951, in Olean and was the daughter of Leroy and Betty Seamon Blake.
Dolly attended Olean Elementary School before attending the Olean Rehab Center. As an adult she became a member of the Allegany Rehab Center.
Dolly was a member of Gospel Fellowship Church where she loved to sing and dance and had many friends and loved to socialize and would talk to anyone. She loved listening to Elvis Presley. She was he light of her family’s lives and she never made a complaint. Dolly was loved by everyone that knew her.
Dolly was the oldest of seven children. Surviving her are her siblings: Georganne J. (Robert) Carney of Cuba, Melanie L. (Lisa Rouleau) Blake of Cuba, Daniel L. Blake of Olean, Sherry L. (Robert) Zajicek of Cuba, Darry L. (Cheryl) Blake of Cuba, and Kathleen S. Cummins, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Dolly was predeceased by her parents and a brother-in-law Jeffrey Cummins.
Friends will be received today, Thursday December 16th, 2021, from 6:00-8:00pm at Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home 24 Genesee Parkway Cuba, NY where a funeral service will be held on Friday December 17th, 2021, at 11:00am officiated by the Rev. Patrick Lyons, Pastor of Gospel Fellowship Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
