Dana L. Skiver

West Clarksville- Dana L. Skiver “Loving Father, Grandfather & Brother”

 Dana L. Skiver of 2476 Wolf Creek Road, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at his home. 

 Dana was born May 13, 1952, in Olean and was the son of Howard Allan and Vivian Patricia Garfield Skiver. On August 28, 1976, in Bolivar he married the love of his life Laura M. Kuhn who predeceased him on January 17, 2024. 

 Dana was a 1971 graduate of Portville Central School. He worked at North Hardware at the Block Plant, LC Whitford, Kirst Construction, and then began working for Ben Reynolds 3 Ben Construction for many years and was still working on and off with them. 

 Dana was a member of the Portville Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed target shooting, switch golf, playing bingo in Bolivar, horse pulls and going to the races but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his brothers. Dana was always there for everyone to always help out he would give you the shirt off his back. 

 Dana is survived by; 3 children, Angela (Tyler) Harvey of Portville, Julia A. Becker of Clarion, PA, and Josh R. (Allison) Skiver of Bradford, PA; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Todd, Tristen, Eric, Willow, Ivy and Nora; 7 siblings; his twin, Dell (Penny) Skiver, Jerry Skiver, Al Skiver, Marty Skiver all of Obi West Clarksville, Ruth Stiles of Rexville, Cheryl Bean of Ithaca and Marilyn (Harry) Whitehead of Idaho and many nieces and nephews. 

 Along with his loving wife Laura, Dana was predeceased by; his parents and his sister Patricia Seamon.
