Cheryl L. Harrison of 3880 Pumpkin Hollow Road passed away Friday March 21, 2014 in the Olean General Hospital following a short illness.
Mrs. Harrison was born September 26, 1951 in Olean, NY, a daughter of John M. and Alice M. Randall, Isaman. Cheryl was a graduate of Allegany Central School, Class of 1969.
On August 25, 1970 in Salamanca she married her husband of 35 years, Dennis D. Harrison Sr. who predeceased her on Jan. 2, 2006.
Cheryl is survived by one son, Dennis D. (Colette) Harrison of Allegany; three daughters, Lynnette M. Harrison of Allegany, Tricia G. (Jim Johnny-john) Harrison of Killbuck, and Michele L. (William Berch) Irvin of Rochester; ten grandchildren, Mista, Tiffany, Nicholas, Dylan, Jonathan, Henry, Rayce, Blaze, Harley and Dennis III; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Karsyn and Savannah; a brother Edward J. Isaman, Sr. of Allegany; a sister, Karen A. (Bill) Andrews of Coudersport; a close family friend, Butch Ginter of Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.
Along her husband, Cheryl was also predeceased by her parents; a nephew Rodney J. Paugh; and a great nephew Ethan G. Isaman.
Cheryl was known as everyone's Mom, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, playing cards and Bingo. She had a love for horses and loved to watch her son race at the dirt track, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Friends will be received Monday, March 24, 2014, in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean from 5:00-7:00 PM, at which time a funeral service will be held. The Rev Suzanne Block, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Five Mile Cemetery, Allegany.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ms. Lynnette Harrison, 3880 Pumpkin Hollow Rd., Allegany, N.Y. 14706, to help defray funeral expenses.
