Charry A. Clark

Charry A. Clark of 3752 Karl Road passed away today, Monday Oct. 11, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family following a short illness. Mrs. Clark was born on Sept. 25, 1935 in Bolivar, NY and was a daughter of Clair and Mary Cassabone Robbins. On Oct. 21, 1972 in Olean she married her husband of almost 38 years Jared R. Clark, who survives. Mrs. Clark worked at St. Bonaventure University and then the Olean General Hospital in the kitchen for about five years. Later she worked at AVX, retiring in 1997 after more than 20 years. Mrs. Clark also worked at Wilson Farms in the Deli for up until 2009 when she had to stop working due to her illness. She was known for her love of her family and her dog Missy. She enjoyed Bingo, Bowling and Euchre and her lottery scratch off's. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Allegany American Legion Lady's Aux. Surviving Mrs. Clark besides her husband are four daughters, Sharon (Steve) Carls of Allegany, Debbie (Carl) Margeson of Allegany, Margie Clark of Sun City California, and Jeanie Clark of Sunny med, California; three sons, Robert Clark of Allegany, Jared Clark of Olean, and Jimmy Clark of California; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Marion (Walter) Yaglowski of Hudson, Fl.; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Clark was pre-deceased by three sisters, Francis Flood, Barbara Williams and Patricia George; and a brother, Robert Robbins. Friends will be received on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean, where Funeral and Committal services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Past or Robert D. Howard will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
