Portville – Charles F. Goodfellow "Loving Husband, Father, & Grandfather"
Charles F. Goodfellow, 74, passed into the presence of the Lord on, Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at the Olean General Hospital, following a brief illness.
Chuck was born on June 4, 1946 in Lackawanna and was a son of Clarence and Ruth A. Hoffman Goodfellow. On December 29, 1974 in Las Vegas, NV, he married his wife of 46 years, Virginia A. (Vicki) McHenry, who survives.
Chuck worked for Stroehmann's Bakery for 30 years, retiring in 2007. He was an active member of his church, Olean Community Church. Chuck had many talents ranging from building his family home on the Haskell Road to rebuilding automobile engines, and he was currently rebuilding a Jeep Wrangler. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, even attending Sturgis Bike Week twice.
Along with his loving wife, Vicki, Chuck is survived by; 2 loving daughters, Jill (Michael) Marino of South Carolina and Mary (Johney) Bishop of Buffalo; his loved son, David (Denise) Renaud; his 15 cherished grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jan (Jeffery) Ford of Buffalo and Joyce (Chuck) Burkey of Jamestown; his brother, Clarence (Nick) Goodfellow of West Seneca; and many nieces and nephews, including, Harmonie (Neal) Conti, Brandon (Christi) Block, and Robin (Melissa) Block.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, today, February 4, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Olean Community Church, 145 South 26th Street, Olean, on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Bryan Garrett, Pastor, will officiate.
