Charles S. Daly

Charlie infant son of Kenneth J. and Stefanie M. Kent Daly of 915 E. State Street, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the Galisano Children's Hospital at Strong Memorial in Rochester. Charley was born on Feb. 13, 2014 in Olean General Hospital. Although Charlie lived his entire life in hospitals he was always surrounded by his loving parents and family. He loved to be read to and especially liked the book "Corduroy". Charlie also enjoyed looking at the pictures and having lullabies songs to him. In addition to his parents, Charlie is survived by his paternal grandparents, John W. (Dawn) Daly of Bolivar; his maternal grandparents, Stephan G. (Karen) Kent of Portville; his maternal great grandmother, Mary Lee Eaton of Olean; two aunts, Brianna L and Megan M. Kent; and an uncle, Ryan P. Kent. Charlie was pre-deceased by an uncle John N. Daly III in 1998. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean, on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at which time Funeral & Committal Services will be held. The Rev. Brian B. Garrett, Pastor of the Olean Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Cardiac Center 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.
