Catherine L. Fields

Catherine L. Fields, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at 28 Elm St., following a short illness. Catherine was born March 28, 1966 in Pensacola, FL and was the daughter of Cecil and Lynette Nix May. She was engaged to Christopher Hall of Wellsville, who survives. Catherine worked as a CNA first at Florala Health and Rehab in Florala, AL, then at Andalusia Hospital, Parthenon Nursing Home in Crestview, FL and at Chautauqua Health & Rehab in Defunick Springs, FL. In 2013 she moved to Wellsville where she worked at the Manor Hills Retirement Home until her illness. Catherine enjoyed gardening, cooking, and Alabama College Football. Along with her loving fianc�, Catherine is survived by three children, Chasity S. (Nicolas) Freeman of Franklinville, Christopher S. (Amanda) Fields of Mobile, AL, and Brittany N. Fields of Franklinville; six grandchildren, Nicolas, Hayden, Christian, Skylar, Gracie, & Mason. Catherine was predeceased by a brother, Donnie May in January 2014. Funeral Services will be held today, September 16, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean. The Rev. R. Mike Stuart, Spiritual Care Manager for Western NY Hospice, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville. Online condolences may be made by clicking on the button above.
