Allegany – Carolyn S. Fox "Loving Mother & Grandmother"
Carolyn S. Fox, of 3100 Cranberry Road, formerly of West River Road & North 19th Street, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at the Olean General Hospital, following an illness.
Carolyn was born on July 17, 1942 in Olean and was a daughter of Arthur C. and Helen M. Snyder Haberly. She was formerly married to Bernard O. Fox.
Carolyn was 1960 graduate of Olean High School. She was a stay at home mother and later in life worked with her son, Jason, at Domino's Pizza for several years until her retirement in 2007. She was an active member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Carolyn was formerly a very active member of the Allegany American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed a life filled with music and loved spending time participating in activities, working out, and socializing at the YMCA on a daily basis. Carolyn also enjoyed bird watching and gardening. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Carolyn is survived by, a son Jason B. (Ann) Fox of Olean, and 4 grandchildren, Christopher J. Fox, Amanda S. (Zachary T. Slater) Fox, Sara A. (John R. Enlow) Fox, and Maria J. Fox.
Carolyn was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lisa Beth Fox, a brother, Robert "Bob" Haberly, and a sister, Murial Moyer.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 109 South Barry Street, Olean, on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at which time a Memorial Service will be held.
