 Caroline M. VanEtten of 5822 County Road 31, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Strong Memorial Hospital.

 Carol was born May 18, 1965 in Bradford, PA and was the daughter of LaVern H. and Ethel Mae Moore Raub Jr., and a loving companion of David A. Oakes of 30 years who survives.

 Carol attended Olean High School.  She enjoyed making homemade dolls, crafting, being outdoors, going to cookouts and spending time with her family. 

 Carol is survived by; her parents; loving companion, David A. Oakes of Scio; 2 step daughters, Diana (Josh) Cook and Annetta Oakes; 8 siblings, William S. VanEtten of Olean, Beverly A. Swan of Tennessee, Gloria Shaffer of Olean, Twin Thomas A. (Tammy) VanEtten of Hinsdale, Raymond D. (Teresa) VanEtten of St. Marys, PA, Donald R. VanEtten, John M. (Tammy) VanEtten and Harry L. Raub all of Portville.

 Carol was predeceased by; brother, Louis N. VanEtten on December 25, 2010 and a sister-in-law, Christina VanEtten on June 10, 2017.

Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am at which time a memorial service will be held.  The Rev.
