Bonnie L. Tarr, 60 of 2812 Rogers Road passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Absolut of Salamanca, following an illness. Bonnie was born Sep. 10, 1952 in Cuba and was a daughter of Huling James and Rose Speta Bowker. On March 19, 1982 in Genesee Township she married her husband of 31 years, Keith B. Tarr, Sr., who survives. Bonnie worked at Olean Tile Company, Heritage Cutlery, and Farnsworth Cookies. She was a member of the Five Mile Baptist Church. Bonnie loved being in the outdoors. She enjoyed birds, pets, flowers, bingo, crocheting, baking, and making there house a home. Bonnie's true enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren who she loved deeply. Along with her loving husband, Keith, Bonnie is survived by three sons, Keith B. (Amanda) Tarr of Olean, Jeffery L. Haberer, and Daniel E. Fronczak of Bolivar; three daughters, Bonnie L. (David) Merchel of Olean, Kay M. (Roger) Brown of Allegany, and Mina M. Peters of Hinsdale/Cuba; many grandchildren; one brother, James E. (Sue) Bowker of Hinsdale/Cuba; three sisters, Jeanne (Donald) Ives of Pennsylvania, Kathy (Randy) Slater of Scio, and Connie Bowker of Belmont; and one sister-in-law, Evie Bowker Bowser of Wellsville. Bonnie was predeceased by two infant sons, Leslie H. Tarr in 1983, and Joe Ronzik; a daughter, Abby Tarr on October 31, 2003; and a brother, Robert Bowker. Friends will be received Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean, New York 14760 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Friday, September 13, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Al Batt, Associate Pastor of the Southside Chapel, will officiate. Burial will be at the Five Mile Cemetery in Allegany. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hinsdale Fire Department, Main St. Hinsdale, NY 14743. Online condolences may be made by clicking on the button above.
