Bonnie L. Bellamy of 2936 Five Mile Road passed away on Friday March 17, 2023.

Bonnie was born on December 29, 1954, in Olean and was the daughter of Arvis Merle and Dorothy Anne James Bellamy. Bonnie was with her lifelong partner of over 40 years, Dale R. Rathburn until he predeceased her on December 3, 2016.

Bonnie was a 1972 graduate of Oswego High School. She worked for a number of places in Olean including the Salvation Army, Park n Shop on Front Street in the meat department, Courtesy Cab Company in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Southern Tier Deli and Donut on Union Street and she worked with Dale, doing home improvements for many years. Bonnie loved helping people. She was full of life and had a big heart. Bonnie loved her family, friends, and animals. She will be remembered as a spunky little lady.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Chesley D. (Milissa) Bellamy of Portville and a stepdaughter, Ann Marie (Chris) Brooks of Chicago, IL., three grandsons; Adam Austin Bellamy, Brandon Lee and Justin Jackowiak Brooks, and four siblings; Arvis “Bud” Bellamy and Jeff Bellamy both of Cuba, Penny S. (Eric Wagner) of Allegany, and Ann (Scott) Pequeen of Oklahoma City, OK.

Along with her loving companion Dale, Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, and her sister Barbara A. Eck on January 23, 2023
