Anne L. Livingston of 470 Indiana Ave, passed away Wednesday July 18, 2012 in the Olean General Hospital following an illness.
Anne was born February 20, 1926 in Clymer, PA, and was a daughter of Frank and Neva Frech Tate. On June 16, 1947, at the Sacred Hearts Church in Altoona, PA she married her husband of 65 years, Guy S. Livingston, who predeceased her on October 13, 2002.
Anne was a graduate of Harrisburg High School. She was an accomplished seamstress working on intricate articles of clothing including wedding dresses and custom draperies. Anne was also a sales clerk at The Sample for about 15 years. She also did alterations for the Kinter Company for a number of years.
Anne was a member of the St. Mary of the Angels Roman Catholic Church of Olean. She truly loved her family and enjoyed taking care of her husband. She took pride in making her house a home. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving Mrs. Livingston are one son, G. Stephen Livingston of Bradford; two daughters, Sue A. (Fred) Moricca of Olean, and Holly L. (Douglas) Klotch of Tampa, FL; and three grandchildren, Adam D. (Jennifer) Klotch of Chicago, IL, Jason D. (Jennifer) Klotch of San Diego, CA, and Sabrina E. Moricca of Olean.
Along with her loving husband, Mrs. Livingston was predeceased by one brother, Frances Tate; and one sister, Patricia Boyle.
There will be no services held at this time. Burial will be at Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, 202 S. Union Street, Olean, New York 14760 or to a charity of the Donor's choice.
