Ronald F. Hurlburt

Ronald F. Hurlburt, formerly of 1026 Billington Ave., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 at the Pines Health & Rehab, following an illness. Ron was born May 13, 1931 in Gold, PA and was a son of Andrew and Elzaeda Hurlburt. On Oct. 29, 1955 in Bolivar, he married his wife of 56 years, Shirley J. Ebersold, who predeceased him on May 30, 2012. Ron worked as a factory worker and baker for Stroehmann's Bakery in Olean for many years before his retirement. He loved riding his lawn mower, cutting his grass, and being a friendly neighbor. Ron is survived by a great great niece, Gloria Hurlburt of Wellsville; close friends, Ronald C. (Linda) Klampt of Olean; and several nieces and nephews on his wife's side. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at which time Funeral Services will be held. Visitation will continue for an additional hour after the Funeral. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, Pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Bolivar.
