Katherine E. Welch

Katherine E. Welch formerly of Laurel Ave, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Pines Health & Rehabilitation Center in Olean. Katherine was born April 4, 1926 in West Seneca and was a daughter of Frank Lawrence & Katherine Maline McCall. On June 28, 1947 she married her husband of 41 years Walter J. Randall, who pre-deceased her on Dec. 4, 1987. She married Curtis Welch who also pre-deceased her. Katherine is survived by four children, Dave W. (Jodi) Randall, Sr. of Cuba, John M. (Marla) Randall of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Kathy L. (Charley) Hummel of Highland, Ill, and Richard L. "Red" Randall of Olean; many grand, great grand & great great grandchildren, and nieces & nephews. Katherine truly enjoyed and loved spending time with her family. She and her husband Walter lived in Florida from 1968 until the early 1990's when she returned to Olean. Katherine was pre-deceased by a son, James M. Randall in 2011; three grandchildren, Charles R. Randall in 1974, Amy Sue Randall and John W. Randall; three brothers, Henry, Frank & Robert McCall; and a sister, Helen McGinnish. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Hinsdale United Methodist Church Mr. Monroe B. Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in the Hinsdale Cemetery.
