Janis G. Pusey

Janis G. Pusey of 103 North 5th St. passed away Monday, July 25th in her home. Born December 29, 1949 in Manhattan, NY she was the daughter of Earl and Virginia (Holdridge) Gray. On December 26, 1991, in North Hempstead, NY, she married the love of her life and knight in shining armor, Kevin J. Pusey, who predeceased her in 2009. Janis studied education and graduated from SUNY Plattsburg. She was a selfless mother devoted to her children, grandchildren, and those in her day care. She loved spending time with her children, caring for her pets, and going on vacations to the beach. She is survived by three children, Colleen (Ethan) Creech of Happy Valley, OR; Dr. Kelly Stoneham, Capt. USAF of San Antonio, TX; and Collin Stoneham of Jacksonville, NC; two grandchildren: Xavier Creech and Roslyn Hope Creech; three siblings: Dr. Robert Gray, William Gray, and Ginger Raymond; and several nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the SPCA of Olean, #2944 Route 16 North, Olean, New York 14760.
