James C. Fuller

James C. Fuller, of 1299 Route 16 South, passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home, following a lengthy illness. James was born May 17, 1923 in Reynoldsville, PA and was a son of Raymond D. and Iva Bell Dickey Fuller. On March 28, 1964, he married his wife of 43 years, Lena P. Phillips, who predeceased him on July 26, 2007. James served in the US Army from 1942 to 1945. He worked at Dresser Manufacturing in Bradford, from 1945 to 1964, at which time he retired. James then became a self-employed Carpenter and continued doing maintenance for some home owners in Bradford. He moved to Olean from Bradford in 1963 and he enjoyed model railroads and airplanes, boating and fishing. James is survived by a sister, Sandra L. Fuller of Bradford, PA; a nephew, L. Mike Price of Bradford, PA; two nieces, Becky Riley of Coraopolis, PA, and Deborah Price of Bradford, PA; and good friends, Gail and Bob Sweitzer of Olean. Along with his loving wife, James was predeceased by a sister, Genevieve Fuller Price. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at which time a funeral service will be held. The Rev. Suzanne M. Block, Pastor of the Christ United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Bradford Ecumenical Home, 100 St. Francis Drive, Bradford, PA 16701 or to the Evergreen Elm, 71 Main Street, Suite 303, Bradford, PA 16701.
