Paul A. Tarr, Jr. of 1682 Seneca Ave., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at the Olean General Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife.

Paul was born on Aug. 31, 1950 in Olean and was a son of Paul A. and Mary Swinko Tarr. On May 18, 2002 in Olean, he married his loving wife Barbara A. Elias, who survives.

Paul was a 1968 graduate of Olean High School. He worked for Wayne Paving in Shinglehouse, PA for over 30 years, until 2001 when he and Barb bought the RoadHouse Bar & Grill, which they operated for 11 years. Paul was a member of the Cuba VFW. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, hot rods, camping, and most outdoor activities, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and family.

Along with his loving wife, Paul is survived by; 4 children, Jess Tarr, and Richard Tarr both of Olean, Brad Tarr of Virginia, and Stacy Tarr of Olean; a stepson, Adam Marowski of Olean; 6 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter, Kyla Smith; and a sister, Paulette (Mike) Blazejewski of Olean.

Paul was predeceased by and infant sister.

Friends will received on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean, where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Stan Scoville, Pastoral Care for HomeCare and Hospice, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery in Olean. Full military honors will be accorded by the Allegany American Legion Charles Harbel Post #892 ritual team.
