Nancy D. Green, of 1601 Allegheny Ave, formerly of 225 White Oak Drive, Allegany, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Kinzua Health & Rehab, following a brief illness.
Nancy was born March 3, 1936 in Olean and was a daughter of William and Lillian McGiveron Clayton. On Oct. 20, 1956 in Olean, she married her husband of 60 years, Kenneth M. Green, who survives.
Nancy was a true proprietor with several businesses in the Olean area for over 40 years including the Cinderella Poochie Parlor, real estate businesses, a chain of Weight Care Centers and her true passion, Ballroom Artistry. Nancy always loved ballroom dancing her entire life. She had a true passion for teaching and became an avid competitor in the ballroom dance arena.
Nancy truly enjoyed life to the fullest and lived accordingly. Work hard play hard mentality. She was very passionate about all aspects of life. She loved her family and did whatever it took to mentor, lead, direct, teach her core values to leave a lasting impression on the loved ones she left behind.
Nancy was also a very spiritual person and very dedicated to her faith knowing that there is something beyond life as we know it on earth.
Nancy graduated from Olean High School in 1954. She moved to Warren in 2015.
Along with her loving husband, Nancy is survived by five children, Diane M. (Wayne) Babb of Olean, Daniel J. Green of Geneseo, Darryl V. (Catherine) Green of Franklinville, Paul D. (Laurie) Green of Olean, and David J. Green of Olean;
nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Nancy was predeceased by one sister, Betty Crandall in 2016.
