Ella L. Miles of 3507 Ford Miles Road passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit following a short illness.

Mrs. Miles was born on Jan. 7, 1940 in Cuba, NY and was a daughter of Arthur and Ida Sabin Dalaba, Sr. On Oct. 27, 1962 in the Haskell Community Church she married her husband of almost 49 years Marvin D. Miles who survives.

Ella was a graduate of Belfast Central High School. Her true love was her husband and their family whom she loved to take care of. She also enjoyed reading, feeding birds and taking care of her cat. Mrs. Miles was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Olean.

In addition to her husband of almost 49 years, Mrs. Miles is survived by a son, Donald M. (Julie) Miles of Jamestown, NY; two daughters, Joyce A. (John) Lawrence of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, and Tammy S. Roth of Redford, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Rachel M. Lawrence-Allen, Jessica L. Lawrence, Andrew P. Lawrence, Timothy J. Roth, Allie L. Miles, Zara E. Miles and Noah J. Miles; a brother, Arthur (Sandy) Dalaba; and any nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Miles was pre-deceased by three brothers, Lewis, Ramsey and Henry Dalaba; and two sisters, Helen L. Smith and Pearl Smith.

Friends will received on Sunday March 27, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. 24 Genesee Pkwy Cuba, where Funeral and Committal Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Cynthia Symons Pastor of The Church of the Nazarene and The Rev. John A. Lawrence (her son-in-law) Pastor of the Church at the Lake in Chippewa Lake, Ohio will officiate. Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, NY.
