To Barry, Kelly and Olivia:
It is with deep saddness for me to hear and read about your wife and mother passing away. She was a wonderful person and great teacher.   I got to know her when she taught my daughter Ashley Kline at The Learning Center in Bradford where she taught 5th and 6th grade.  Ashley was one of her favorites and loved to pick on her.  She even bought her a bib to use when they had lunch and parties since ashley always spilled food on her shirt.  I also loved her for her funny antics especially when she surprised her students and parents in playing Cruelle Deville in the school play one year.   May you all remember the good times you all shared and have peace and comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and that she will continue to carry on her antics up in heaven.

So very sorry to hear of Joyce's passing.  We worked together at The Learning Center for several years.  I always enjoyed spending time with her and sharing life.  She is missed.

Dear Barry, Kelly & Olivia,
I am so sad to hear the news of Joyce Ann's passing.  It has been a long time since I have seen you all, but I've always kept all of you in my thoughts and prayers.  My memories of Joyce Ann will always be of her no-nonsense spirit, her unwavering strength, and her easy sense of humor.  I think of Joyce Ann every time I drive past a street in our town that is known for its antique shops.  I never knew we had such a street till Joyce Ann came out for my college graduation and insisted we go there.  Always the teacher, she managed to teach me something about my own town!  Kelly & Olivia, I know you were young last time I saw you, and you might not remember me, but I will always be your Aunt and if you ever come to the west coast I hope you will let me know so I can see you.  It's unfair that you have to deal with this loss so early in your lives.  Hold tight to each other and your dad and know that there are people like myself out there thinking about you and sending lots of love.  Barry, all my love and sympathy.  I cannot imagine what you are going through right now, but I know your girls are lucky to have a father like you.  Thank you for the beautiful photo of Joyce Ann you've used in this obituary.  It is how I will choose to remember her lovely, genuine smile.
All my love to the whole family,
Debi
